Anyone who has done any research on Internet marketing knows plenty of rip-offs abound. Unfortunately, unscrupulous marketers feed on the abundance of people looking for the means to quit their jobs by making money on the Internet. It’s very sad, because millions probably get duped into spending money unnecessarily, only to chase down avenues with dead ends. Thankfully, there are ways you can make money on the Internet with no up-front investment. This should be good news to those who have had run-ins with Internet scheme run by rip-off artists!
But sometimes one person’s scam is another person’s good opportunity. A good example of this is the recent controversy over an Internet business-in-a-box, called site Build It. Some believe that at least one person has written a Site Build It review that wasn’t entirely accurate. The owner has publicly defended himself and he might be right about his product being on the up-and-up. But it would be up to any potential buyer to do his or her own research.
One of the main ways I like to make money on the Internet is above-board and also fairly simple to implement. I make money with no money on HubPages. HubPages — a community blogging site — makes it quite easy to create content and generate ad revenue. You can create as many or as few content “hubs” (pages) as you like. Each hub you create can make up to five types of affiliate marketing revenue: Amazon and eBay items, any affiliate marketing program you’d like to choose, Google AdSense ads and Kontera ads. Sixty percent of the impressions (page views) that generate revenue go to you and the people who own HubPages get 40%. The exception to that would be if you implemented an affiliate program; you get one hundred percent of any income generated by someone clicking through on an affiliate link. It takes a while to get good at building money-making hubs and I eventually decided to employ some automated marketing software to help promote my hubs, but the revenue you can generate over time makes it worth it.
There are many affiliate marketing programs out there but I like to use RevResponse on my hubs, because it provides great free information for people. When people click on links to any of the RevResponse magazines or white papers and qualify, you make money. That’s all there is to it. Qualifying is not a shoe-in though, so you have to understand that aspect. To learn more, you might want to read this affiliate review. The information in the review will help you know whether the RevResponse program is right for your readers.
